For Nay Solo, Michael Frishkopf uses the nay to improvise a sublime, emotive and timeless taqsim track. This was recorded in an apartment while experimenting with loopers in 2008 with Nadir Bellahmer who provides the backing violins on loop.

On Nay Drone, during the same recording session, Michael layers the recording to create a dramatic drone piece. Recorded during the same session as Nay Solo, this was an improvised piece with backing loops by Nadir Bellahmer.

Both tracks best listen to on cassette tape. Also available on compact disc. Digital download code included with both formats.
